My name is Matt. I live in a rural farming area of central Wisconsin. As you can guess, I enjoy fishing. Even my very first childhood memories involve going up by grandma and grandpa's place and going out in the boat or on the ice to catch some fish. While I could not tell you about how many we caught or how big they were, I do know that I had fun. That "fun" that I remember from my childhood is one of the reasons for starting up TheWetFish. I want to try and help people experience fun filled days while enjoying the wonderfull sport of fishing. Those days that you spend out fishing will eventually turn into nice memories, so do not forget to involve the whole family in a day of fishing.

In the spring of 2005, I decided to restructure the company and sell non-fishing products. I wanted to provide the customers a place where they could find something for the whole family. Maybe that gift for that special somebody in their life, or something for the children. In order to achieve this, we had to offer other items instead of only fishing products. After time passed, the fishing products were not selling like they used to, so we removed the fishing product line almost completely. Whomever you are shopping for, we may just have what you are looking for and a few things that may not have crossed your mind too.

While I have been doing alright selling products online, I found the need to also add another enviroment in my daily sales. So I chose to start selling at flea markets. I enjoy meeting my customers face to face. Most of the items are brand new, however I do also sell used items that are valuable as well. You never know what treasure you can find when you locate me at a flea market. The items that I sell change often, so taking a day and traveling to meet me at the "local" flea market can be a fun adventure.

Our customers are just like us, real people. When I started in this business, I wanted to create a friendly shopping experience that will make you smile. I know when I am a customer at a store, I want to be treated like the #1 customer. I know you expect the very same thing. Therefore we will do our very best to treat you like our #1 customer as well.
